Falls and balance class
The Falls and Balance class aims to improve strength, balance, and mobility to reduce the risk of falls and improve confidence. The class includes exercises to improve balance, strength, and reflexes, as well as education on fall prevention and strategies for managing falls.

- Improve strength:
Exercises target muscle strength, particularly in the lower limbs, which are crucial for balance and stability.

The class will incorporate exercises that challenge balance, such as one-legged stands, weight shifts, and balance board exercises.
- Improve mobility:
Exercises aim to increase flexibility and range of motion, making it easier to move and balance.
- Reduce the fear of falling:

- Techniques in getting up from the floor:
In the class strategies for getting up of the floor safely will be taught.
